This won\’t be your ordinary review from the Highway.
For one, this is a car you can no longer find on Toyota\’s website, and may not find at all in the lot of your local dealership.
It\’s also a car from a generation on its way out the door.
And of course, it\’s a manual, something I thought I could finally master for my 42nd birthday, thereby increasing my value as an automotive writer on the freelance market (and here on the Highway, too).
Let us now close out the first year of Aubernon Highway with the 2020 Toyota 86 Hakone Edition, and why, despite everything, I\’m not built to shift my own gears.
